The coating technique, structure and process adopted on TRX-Solar Receiver Tube are up to the world standards; its technical specifications have reached the international advance level.
l Unique absorber coating
It uses ceramic-ceramic material instead of conventional ceramic-metallic material (CERMET).The unique structure of double ceramic components effectively prevents the movement, aggregation and spread of metal atoms into the coating. Due to this selective coating, even under higher temperature, our receiver tubes work stably and keep the absorptance equal or above 95%, and an emissivity lower than 11% at temperature 360°C.
l Reliable Innovative Kovar-to-glass seal
It uses Innovative Kovar-to-Borosilicate glass matched sealing that considers the consistency of two material’s thermal expansivity along with the change of temperature and eliminates the glass stress at the point of joints between glass and metal. This structure can help to keep tube vacuum degree in a stable level under long-term high temperature.
l Improved anti-reflective film
The surface is coated with a layer of SiO2 anti- reflective (AR) films using Sol-gel technology. Due to the special production process, the average transparence of outer glass tube reaches up to 96% and its surface abrasion-proof is enhanced significantly.
l Stable production process
We have built a production line for 4-meter-length Solar Receiver Tube with capacity of 25,000 pcs and will build “Aerospace shenzhou solar thermal industrial park” in Hebei province in the end of 2012 to expand product capacity to achieve 60,000 pcs.
l Comprehensive Testing and Demonstrating System
A 300 m² Solar platform test system is running to test and demonstrate the Solar Receiver Tube and the platform.
